Photo, Video & Audio Policy
At 2Rivers Church, we love celebrating what God is doing in people's lives. Photography, video, audio and livestreaming help us share those stories, celebrate meaningful moments together and invite others into the life and ministry of our church.
Our Commitment to You
We want to use photos and video thoughtfully and in ways that honor the people who are part of our church. We recognize that there may also be personal, privacy or safety reasons someone would prefer not to be intentionally photographed or featured.
If you have a concern about being photographed or recorded, please let a 2Rivers Church staff member know or contact the church office. We will make reasonable efforts to honor those requests whenever possible.
Photography, Recording & Livestreaming
Photography, video recording, audio recording and/or livestreaming may take place during 2Rivers Church services, events, programs, classes and other activities.
By attending or participating in a 2Rivers Church service, event, program or activity, you acknowledge that you may be photographed or recorded and that your image, likeness, voice or participation may appear in media created by or on behalf of 2Rivers Church.
How We May Use Media
Photos, video, audio and other recordings may be edited, reproduced, published, livestreamed or shared for purposes related to the ministry and communications of 2Rivers Church.
These uses may include:
- Church services and livestreams
- The 2Rivers Church website and app
- Social media
- Email and digital communications
- Printed materials
- Promotional or informational materials
- Stories, testimonies and ministry updates
- Other communications related to the mission and ministry of 2Rivers Church
No compensation will be provided for the use of photographs, video, audio recordings or other media captured in connection with 2Rivers Church activities.
Baptisms & Other Celebrations
Baptisms, child dedications, worship services, special events and other significant moments are often photographed, recorded or livestreamed so that our church family can celebrate together. Photos or portions of these moments may also be shared through 2Rivers Church communications to celebrate what God is doing and encourage others.
Because photography and video are an expected part of these experiences, anyone with a specific privacy or safety concern is encouraged to contact us before participating so we can discuss reasonable accommodations.
Featured Stories, Interviews & Testimonies
When an individual is intentionally invited to participate in a featured interview, testimony, photo session or similar media project, 2Rivers Church may provide additional information or request specific permission appropriate to that project.
Children & Students
We take additional care with photography and video involving children and students. 2Rivers Church may use separate registration, parental or guardian permissions, ministry procedures or other safeguards for minors participating in church programs and activities.
Parents or guardians with questions or specific privacy concerns regarding their child should contact the appropriate ministry leader or the church office.
Privacy Requests
If you do not wish to be intentionally featured in church-produced photography or video, please notify a 2Rivers Church staff member or contact the church office. We will make reasonable efforts to honor requests that are communicated to us.
Because some services and events are recorded or livestreamed as they occur, we may not always be able to guarantee that an individual will not appear incidentally in a wide-angle, crowd or background image. If you have a particular safety or privacy need, contacting us in advance gives our team the best opportunity to assist you.
Photos & Recordings Made by Others
At many church services and events, other attendees may also take photographs or recordings. Media created or shared by individuals or third parties who are not acting on behalf of 2Rivers Church may be outside the church's control.

If you have questions about this policy, have a privacy or safety concern, or would like to talk with someone before participating in an event, please contact the 2Rivers Church office.
By attending or participating in a 2Rivers Church service, event, program or activity, you acknowledge this policy and understand that photography, video recording, audio recording and/or livestreaming may occur.
